November the 4th we have to be completely out of the Center. We are going to move everything out of the building by the 3rd. We are having a worship time in the “old building” for the last time on November the 2nd. You are all invited.

The first century church went through an enormous growth spirt just over a month after the resurrection. There were prayer and fellowship groups popping up all over the city and word was spreading fast about “The Way”. The future looked bright for the church in Jerusalem.

And then the “diaspora” occured. The church was scattered to the four winds by persecution and the worldwide spread of the gospel was begun. I hope that our moving has the same effect on our campus.

We are going to have to find new places to meet and a new place to have our headquarters. We won’t be nearly so comfortable or settled. We’ll have to scramble around. We’ll have to take whatever place is available. The strength of our group will have to be found in our small groups and prayer and fellowship times. We’ll have to become much more visible and we’ll have to work harder. All those are good things and growth things.

Pray that God will scatter these students all over the campus with a passion for the gospel. Pray that this scattering will begin a revival that will spread to every area of our university. Pray. Pray that our way will be difficult and glorifying to God. Pray that our students will be up to this challenge.

So, watch the internet and we’ll try to let you know where we’ll be and when we’ll be there. I hope you can get in on the worship on the 2nd. It’s going to be exciting. We are building.
