This is only the beginning…

My son and I had a discussion about this blog site. He informed me
that I am too long winded. I am going to have to be more concise
to get my message to more people. This column will reflect that
choice.
“God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him.” (John Piper,
Passion Conference)
What do you think of that statement? How does that line up with
Philippians 4.11-13? Can you really be satisfied? What if all you had
was Jesus? What if all you need is Jesus? What if all you ever really
wanted was Jesus? Would that explain why we can’t be satisfied?
We are at the end of a semester of work at the MBSF but I feel like
we are just beginning. There is so much to tell and so much to do.
I’m ready for the Fall. Let’s go from here. Get your minds and hearts
right. This is only the beginning.

Come on now, Da’Lenner! I check first thing every morning to see of your dad has “gone out blogging” and read and enjoy every word (most of the time). He can’t help it if it’s long winded – he writes like he talks!!!
