We are now spread across three continents. I am working here in North America, Jack and Karen Cross and Nathan Harper and Clayton Howell and Grant Barnes and TJ Weed and Rachel Brown and about 13 more of our church members are in Central America, and Silas Cross is in Kenya. We have gone global abd there is a reason.

“That’s all I can stands, I can’t stands no more.” Popeye the Sailor Man

You remember Popeye, don’t you? He was the nicest, kindest cartoon character on the tube. He was, that is, until things got danerous for Olive Oyl, or Sweetpea, or Wimpy, or some other minor character. Then Popeye’s righteous indignation would rise up, he’d gulp down a can of spinach, and destroy the bad guys with his mighty forearms. It just made you feel good.

I want that feeling. I want to see the “right” prevail. It’s time for the Kingdom to rise up. It’s past time for those who are the children of God to “reveal themselves”. Grab your can of Spinach, (the Bible) gulp it down, and do something.

God said to Moses, in Exodus 3.7, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.” “That’s all I can stand…” You know. God at the end of his rope. He’s dangerous when He gets there. There is no stopping Him when He reaches that point. Are you with me.

So how much do we need to see before we get there? How many more must die in alcohol related auto accidents? How many more teen pregnancies? How many suicides? How many more children dying from preventable causes? How much more hunger and poverty and violence and abuse? How much more suffering is it going to take to call us out of our religious coma and into the real world of pain?

I’m there. “That’s all I can stand, I can’t stand no more.” If you are there then let’s rise up and strike. Let’s take action. You may be asking, “what does that mean?” I’m not exactly sure what we will do but we will do SOMETHING and we’ll be as swift and efficient and effective as we can possibly be. If you are ready then watch this space because more is coming. We are going global.
